Welcome to our wild life! My name is Jenn; a wife, mom to three energetic kids (9, 7, and 5), and wrangler of two dogs, a small flock of slightly judgmental chickens, and two horses—both of which I get to compete and show with my oldest daughter. My Hubbie runs a small bee/honey operation, and did I mention… We both work full time! We live in the country, where “entertainment” means camping, boating, four-wheeling, horseback riding, backyard adventures, and heated board game battles (yes, someone always flips the Monopoly board). We also love time with our extended family and church community.
I started this blog to cheer on parents who want to swap screen time for real-life connection—through independent outdoor and indoor play. It’s not always easy (there are days when I could kiss the inventor of Disney+), but the reward is worth it: more laughter, more memories, and fewer arguments over who lost the remote.
